Campus
The conference will take place at the Algarve University, located 6 km away from the center of Faro city and 2 km from Faro airport. The University of the Algarve is a young state university with a student population close to 10 000 and employs over 700 academics. The campus has a restaurant, snack-bars, open-air sporting facilities and several auditoriums. There is a regular bus service which connects the campus to the beach (2 km) and to Faro.

At a walking distance of the University campus we find the Ria Formosa Lagoon, a natural reserve with 170 squared kilometers, a perfect location for those who enjoy nature and bird watching. If you prefer to relax in the beach then at 2 km you can find praia de Faro.
